Ready. Jet set. Go

The week before my 23rd birthday my mom and I went down to Charleston, South Carolina to visit family. I was so excited because I’ve heard nothing but good things about South Carolina and it totally delivered! The old charm of the city is right up my ally! We had so much fun soaking up the sun and just relaxing. We stayed at the Egdewater Commons- an apartment complex that feels like a resort. Beautiful greenery, a luxurious pool, fire pit, and it even has a gym (yes I used it.. Twice).

Some Charleston recommendations: grab lunch at the Charleston Crab House, eat dinner at Stars, head upstairs for a drink on the rooftop – try the Weekend at Bernie’s; walk along East Bay Street and plan your “Future Home” Pinterest board, buy a piece of jewelry on Market Street, and head over to Sullivan’s Island during sunset.

How fun is a horse and carriage ride?!

Delicious Wood Grilled Half Lobster pair perfectly with my Weekend at Bernie’s cocktail.

So many cute store fronts! I was obviously drawn to the one with puppies.

While I was down there I got my hair done at this adorable salon! Strawberry Blonde Salon, is the cutest salon I’ve ever seen, fully equipped with a coffee and wine bar!

Walking through Market Street was like walking through Etsy in real life.It. Was. Awesome.

One of the things I loved about Charleston was how much the whole town appreciates their city. Everyone talks with such love and passion about the streets and events their home has to offer. There are so many activities that I want to do and places I want to go that I have already started planning my trip back!
