Hello fellow Bermuda Roomers 😉
This morning I woke up not feeling like myself, I had the sudden urge to cook! This is a rare form of myself that I have not really explored before; cooking is just not my thing. So naturally, I just went with it.
I opened my fridge and saw some hamburger meat, cooked it. I saw three artichokes, looked up a recipe and broiled them. Then I noticed a huge 32oz bag of kale! The bag suggested a kale chip recipe, so I tried that and LOVED it. I ended up using half of the bag to make this delicious and healthy snack!
It is so quick and easy anyone can make them:
• Preheat oven to 450
• Wash and break into smaller pieces
• Let the kale dry * (my first batch was a little soggy since I did not let them dry)
• Put into a bowl and mix with sea salt, pepper, or any seasoning you want and some olive oil
• Bake for 8-10 minutes
I started scouring the internet for what else I could make with kale. I made a salad with kale tomatoes and grapes and a light olive oil dressing, kale quinoa and avocado salad with grilled chicken and vegetarian kale soup! Before I knew it my huge bag of kale was empty!
Time to head to Trader Joes for more ingredients to fulfill my new found kale addiction.
