Trend Alert: Cork Clutch!

Last weekend I attended my uncle’s wedding and I received so many compliments on my outfit! Especially my cork clutch! Clutches in general have become extremely popular this season, specifically the fold-over clutch. However, cork is squeaking its way in! I absolutely love the cork detail, it is classy enough to dress up an outfit, yet it is subtle enough to be worn as an everyday piece. It all depends on how you wear it, and easily enough, it has such a unique and timeless look that you can pair with virtually anything! I personally, fell in love with the gold detail in the clutch I bought from Francesca’s Collections. It has a fold-over look and gold hardware that matched perfectly with my shoes.

The dress I wore was a beautifully pleated spaghetti strap shift dress by BCBG. The navy was so deep that I chose to pair it with a lighter blue, green and gold bib necklace that I purchased at an adorable store in Hoboken, NJ! I found beautiful strappy Vince Camuto heels at Nordstrom’s Rack for an amazing price! Since the dress was more on the plain side, I had so much fun dressing it up with accessories. I also played around with false lashes! The lashes I used are MUA Glamour Sultry Curl Lashes and you can pick them up at your local CVS for just $5!

Here are some of my favorite looks with cork clutches!
