Yes, I waited until the last minute to pack. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t pack on the very last day, that’s where all the fun is. It is now 6:30pm, the day before I leave the country and I am still in need of the most important item; a strapless bra. That seems to be one of my biggest mishaps lately. All I ever hear is, “you would look so much cuter in that shirt if I didn’t have to stare at your bright blue bra straps.” Like okay, forgive me, I am in between sizes at the moment and I feel like being cheap. Do you even know how much a nice strapless bra costs?! I can’t even tell you.
Anyway, the good thing is, is that I managed to pack the next two weeks of my life into a High Sierra Travel Backpack. I know what you’re thinking, must be fancy, but it’s safe to imagine this one as your regular sized middle school book bag. It’s a little smaller than I imagined, but it works, and it forced me to pack lighter than normal which will save my back muscles in the long run. I will be very proud of myself over the next fourteen days because I will have to wear everything more than once. I’ve mentioned this before, but one of my biggest downfalls is that I don’t like to repeat outfits. I am slowly working on this bad habit, and luckily, this trip will force me into becoming an outfit repeater. I just have to tell myself that it is okay and actually extremely normal.
